When the operation is complete, you need to change the saved location. Right-click the unallocated volume, select New Simple Volume, assign the drive a letter such as E, and ensure that the NTFS format is chosen. Then allocate the new space to a new letter with NTFS.Click the “Shrink” button and let it finish the job. By default the system will set your drive to shrink as much as Windows allows, and you can enter a lower number for that.Right-click or hold-and-press the C: partition and choose “Shrink Volume” to create an unallocated region on your hard disk.The Disk Management window displays a list of drives and their partitions, with a graphical view along the bottom.From your desktop, click or tap on the Windows button at the left-bottom corner to open Start menu, type partitions, and select “Create and Format Hard Disk Partitions.”.
If the D drive is still not seen by Xbox App or Microsoft store, you could create a new partiton. Then make a rebooting to apply changes and check if it works. Within the File Explorer, open the D drive, right click on the WindowsApps folder, select Rename, and set it to WindowsApps.old.
